Week 14 Pictures:
Mia's mum talked to us about Judaism

We had fun filling bags for homeless men.

We made tags which said 'For a Friend'

We worked with friends

When the bags were full Mr. Mullane took them to the homeless men

Taking action made us reflective and we felt happy to help others

Importante comunicazione
Cari genitori a partire da venerdì p.v. organizzeremo degli incontri individuali per condividere con voi il target setting degli studenti per l'italiano.
Vi preghiamo pertanto di prendere appuntamento collegandovi al wiki e indicando il nome del bambino.

We went to 2M in week 6 and looked at ordering pictures of famous Italians according to their place in history.  We had fun.  Here are some pictures from our lesson:

Hello grade 2 blog readers.
This is the short film clip we watched before preparing our conkers

receive a letter explaining what will happen on the Family afternoon....

A very good way for your children to practice their spelling is the Look-Cover-Write method.
The following link is great because you can decide the words that you want to practice

Enjoy your week!

We found a connection!

We are writing our connections in rough

We are writing our neat copy
This is our display

Our puppets hang together to show our connections

The whole grade came together for this activity
Dear parents,
The year has begun well and there's a happy and fun atmosphere pervading our days.
Sofia and Natalia have been wonderful in adapting to the new school. Aden has joined us and Ignacio's arrival is still uncertain. That makes a lively group of 18 -a nice round and even number -.

Thank you so much for your support in sending in the supplies. It's working!
Each morning we all comment on the new erasers, pencils, folders....  Niccolò divides and stores our working tools. Manfredi takes care of the labeling stickers and Giuseppe supervises the supervisors!
They are our supplies. We are a team. We do our best and we do it with care and love.

Parent Information night will be held in our classroom on Monday, September 26 at 4:00 pm.
It will be a good chance to meet and talk about the coming year. Mr Francesco will also be present to inform you about the Italian curriculum.

I look forward to seeing you on Monday. Have a good week.
Ms Chiara
